Replacement Policy
Replacement Policy
At Compound Marketing Services, we believe clients should receive the opportunities they have paid for.
Our replacement policy is designed to provide a clear and fair process where a sales lead or appointment does not meet the qualification requirements agreed at the beginning of the campaign.
This policy applies to both:
-
Pay Per Sales Lead Generation campaigns
-
Pay Per Appointment Generation campaigns
How Our Replacement Policy Works
Before a campaign begins, we agree on the qualification criteria with the client.
These criteria may include factors such as:
-
Target industry
-
Geographic area
-
Decision-maker or contact role
-
Business or consumer requirements
-
Level of interest
-
Product or service suitability
-
Appointment requirements
-
Any other campaign-specific qualification criteria
If a delivered sales lead or appointment does not meet the agreed qualification criteria, the client may submit it for review.
Where the pay per lead sales lead or appointment is confirmed as not meeting the agreed criteria, Compound Marketing Services will provide a replacement.
What May Qualify for Replacement
A replacement may be approved where, for example:
-
The prospect does not meet the agreed qualification criteria
-
The contact falls outside the agreed geographic area
-
The contact is not within the agreed target market
-
The prospect does not meet a required eligibility condition
-
The appointment was booked with a person who does not meet the agreed decision-maker or influence requirements
-
The contact information supplied is materially incorrect and prevents the prospect from being reached
-
The opportunity was incorrectly classified as qualified based on the agreed campaign criteria
Replacement eligibility is assessed against the qualification requirements agreed for the campaign.
What Does Not Automatically Qualify for Replacement
A qualified sales lead or appointment is not automatically eligible for replacement simply because it does not convert into a sale.
Sales outcomes depend on many factors outside the control of Compound Marketing Services, including:
-
The client’s sales process
-
Pricing
-
Follow-up speed
-
Sales presentation
-
Product or service suitability
-
Competition
-
Prospect timing
-
Internal approval processes
-
Changes in the prospect’s circumstances
Our role is to generate the agreed qualified sales opportunity or appointment. We do not guarantee that every qualified opportunity will result in a sale.
Appointment No-Shows
A prospect failing to attend an appointment does not automatically mean the appointment was unqualified.
Where applicable, the campaign may include reasonable rebooking or follow-up efforts for no-shows.
The exact treatment of no-shows will be outlined in the campaign agreement.
If a prospect met the agreed qualification criteria and genuinely agreed to the appointment, the appointment will generally remain considered qualified unless otherwise specified in writing.
Replacement Leads and Appointments
Approved replacements are provided as additional campaign outcomes.
For ongoing monthly campaigns, approved replacements may roll over into the following campaign period and be delivered in addition to the contracted monthly volume.
For example:
If a client is contracted for 20 qualified appointments in a month and 2 appointments are approved for replacement, those 2 replacement appointments remain owing and can be delivered in addition to future contracted appointments.
Replacements Do Not Allow for Non-Payment
Outstanding replacements do not provide a basis for withholding, reducing or delaying payment of an invoice.
Monthly campaign invoices remain payable in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
Approved replacements remain owing and will continue to be delivered in accordance with the campaign agreement.
This is important because campaign staffing, calling, data, systems and delivery resources continue regardless of whether a replacement is still outstanding.
No Cash Refund for Approved Replacements
Where a sales lead or appointment qualifies for replacement, the remedy is generally a replacement lead or appointment rather than a cash refund.
This allows the campaign to continue delivering the agreed level of qualified opportunity.
Any different arrangement must be agreed in writing.
Reporting a Lead or Appointment for Review
Clients should notify Compound Marketing Services as soon as reasonably possible where they believe a lead or appointment does not meet the agreed qualification criteria.
The request should include:
-
Prospect name
-
Date delivered
-
Reason the opportunity is being disputed
-
Any relevant notes or evidence
We will review the opportunity against the agreed campaign criteria and confirm whether a replacement applies.
Campaign-Specific Qualification Criteria Apply
Every campaign is different.
For this reason, the specific qualification criteria in the signed campaign agreement take priority when determining whether a lead or appointment qualifies for replacement.
This allows the replacement policy to remain fair and relevant across different industries, target markets and campaign structures.
Our Goal
Our aim is to create a transparent performance-based service where clients know what they are paying for and what happens if an opportunity does not meet the agreed standard.
Clear qualification criteria at the beginning of the campaign help protect both the client and Compound Marketing Services and allow replacement requests to be handled consistently.
If you are considering a Pay Per Sales Lead Generation or Pay Per Appointment Generation campaign and would like to discuss how qualification and replacements would work for your business, contact Compound Marketing Services today.
